I’m Bethany!
A Gemini, that loves a giant cup of iced coffee. I am a mother to 3. A confidence advocate, with a zero f*cks given mentality towards what people think of me. I'm very much an introvert, until you get to know me. Then you are stuck with me for life! I am a great listener, and not so great public speaker. I’m goofy and awkward at times. My favorite thing to do to get inspired is have deep life conversations with my friends, while drinking way too much coffee!
It's taken me a while to get where I am today. After photographing families and children for 6 years, I felt like something was missing. I loved photographing the love between families, but I hated how hard Mama was on herself. I wanted to tell all the moms that they were so beautiful and should be proud of their body for all that it has been through. So that’s exactly what I did.
Then I had my own boudoir session. I'm going to be honest with you, it 100% changed they way I felt about myself.. I was just so much happier with myself, I FELT SO SEXY. And for the first time I felt like it was OK to feel sexy. Coming from a conservative background, I was made to feel that sex was bad. Wanting to feel sexy was bad. Society’s views of how women should act and look made me feel guilty for wanting to be myself. My purpose is to help women see their true beauty. Show them how worthy they are to have gorgeous photos of themselves.
Sexy is not a look, but a feeling- a confidence. Its not just how you're seen by others; its a way of seeing yourself. I want to show every woman possible, that they are beautiful and it is a wonderful feeling to love yourself. AND IT”S OK TO BE SEXY.
